*A motion is made by President Bill David that the Financial review will be delayed until the next meeting on August 7th due to time constraints on this evening. An in depth review will be made at the next meeting. Paul Barlow seconds the motion.
VII.Old Business:
*A review of the vote for indemnification issue of board members being included into the declarations shows that it is still 5 votes short. It is currently in the articles of incorporation.
*Lighting Update- Another inspection of the grounds for non functioning front lamp post lights will be done this week. The HOA board received several complaints of lamp posts that were not illuminated.
* An updated/revised proposed “Rules and Regulations” for the Association will be distributed to the Board by Michael Albanese before the next meeting.
VII. New Business
*A Review of the 2009 Landscaping Contract was discussed and a motion was made by President Bill David to restructure the landscaping maintenance map by the next Annual meeting due to financial strains of the landscaping budget that have unfolded in 2008. Deneen Seljan seconds this motion.
*A review of the 2009 snow removal contract was discussed and a motion was made by Deneen Seljan to seek other bids for the service in 2009. President Bill David seconds this motion. This was due to many resident complaints regarding the bad performance of Schill Landscaping snow removal service in 2008.
* A discussion was had after a presentation by the pond committee regarding installing difusers in our retention pond. Several quotes were given. Paul Barlow will follow up and call several of the companies for further information. This is an item we will table until further info is received and a review of our budget allows installation of this option.
*The next HOA meeting was scheduled for Thursday August 7th at 6:30pm.
A motion for the meeting to be called to a close by Bill David. Paul Barlow seconds the motion.
