Hunt Club HOA meeting February 25, 2008
Meeting called to order at 7:03pm by HOA President Bill David
Attendees: Bill David (President), Deneen Seljan (Vice President) Michael Albanese (Treasurer), Robert Sidloski, Paul Barlow and Barry Barnett: Barnett Management
I. Approval of minutes from last meeting:
Minutes were reviewed and approved by all attendees.
lI. Delinquent Accounts:
Deneen Seljan makes a motion that all annual fee delinquencies of payments made before March 1, 2008 be waived. Michael Albanese seconds the motion. Motion carried 5-0.
III. Financial Review:
Financials: Deneen Seljan inquires to Barry Barnett of the prior year’s budget of $11,000 for reseeding and landscaping work to lifestyles areas. Barry stated that the money was never used and this work was never done. Some lifestyle residents said the witnessed some landscaping work was done but never completed. This was determined to be possibly done by Ryan Homes landscaping company Maslyk at no cost of the HOA.
lV. Old Business:
Street Lights on east side of Winners Circle status- Currently Illuminating Company is scheduled to install the lights 12 weeks from the conversation at the end of January. Barry Barnett said he would contact City Engineer Joe Rietz to perhaps see if he could help hasten the installation.
Barry Barnett said he would contact Willow Valley aquatic to complete removal of cat tails in the retention pond previously agreed to by the HOA board.
Paul Barlow contacted Jeff Crawford of Ryan Homes regarding damage done by construction trucks to numerous stands of decorative lights. He will be asking for Ryan Homes to refund the HOA board $300 for the damaged property.
Snow Removal complaints by numerous residents were passed along to Schill Landscaping. Lee of Schill Landscaping told Barry Barnett he would oversee this issue and we should see an improvement in service.
Further inquiry of the status of enforcement of burned out yard light posts. It is determined that non functioning lamp posts are a development safety issue and is covered by pg. 6 of Articles/Declarations Exh. C. Letters will be sent by mail to all violators informing them of penalties if lights continue to be left not illuminated. . Barnett Management will also survey the subdivision properties to determine if all existing structures have been properly approved in accordance with the Declaration. Barnett Management will have the web site posted to remind residents of the approvals necessary
Vll. New Business:
Bill David asked Barry Barnett to get several quotes for the installation of flood lights for the entranceway island trees and have them by the next HOA board meeting on April 7th.
Board members will be meeting with Mayor Zuber, City Engineer Joe Rietz, and several council members on March 5th at 7pm at Avon lake City Hall to discuss the performance bond of development streets and future city inspection of the mounding/grading upon completion by Ryan Homes and other issues.
Bill David motions to close the meeting at 9:20pm, Paul Barlow seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0
